One of my goals for the year is to migrate this blog to Google's App Engine. I started last July so it hasn't exactly been a speedy process but I have enjoyed taking my time learning Python and Django. I've knocked up a few side projects along the way but the end goal has always been to create a custom blogging engine (as I did for the current site) using the App Engine infrastructure. I was therefore very pleased to see that Google have been listening to developer feedback and are going to be adding some nifty extra features in the coming months.
