Grokking In Fullness
I finished my first reading of Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land" last night. While I enjoyed the book it did frustrate me at times because Heinlein's strong libertarian bent is obvious throughout. I am a liberal but not a libertarian and I found some of Heinlein's idealised libertarian views both naive and somewhat nauseating at times. I had very similar thoughts about Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead". Never-the-less I would definitely recommend the book because it cleared out some cobwebbed areas of my brain that I haven't utilized much since my sociology days. You can't really ask for much more from a book.
